The Tyler Spillman Memorial Scholarship is a Federally Registered and recognized non-profit organization that focuses primarily on assisting graduating High School Seniors in making their dreams of attending college a reality. This Foundation creates and manages local events that strengthen community bonds and raises money for college scholarships. Thanks to our amazing volunteer fundraising team and to our incredible list of corporate & private sponsors, we are so grateful to announce that we were able to award over $30K in college scholarship money in our Inaugural year! We are so thankful for your friendship and support, and we look forward to growing with you.

The Tyler Spillman Memorial Scholarship was founded in the Fall of 2017 after our son was tragically killed in an automobile accident at the age of 18.  Tyler was a recent graduate of Klein Collins High School, and was playing football at Trinity Valley Community College at the time of the accident.  The loss of our son has been unimaginably painful, however the love & support that we have received from the community, family, & friends has been overwhelming.  You lifted us up when we could not stand on our own, and you have given us pictures, videos, & stories that have allowed us to know our son through your eyes.  You will never know how grateful we are for this gift.  We are incredibly proud of the man that Tyler became, and the lives that he impacted during his short stay on earth.  He lived a good life, filled with love, laughter, & adversity, and it is our primary goal to honor his legacy of excellence, generosity, & service.  We miss him dearly every day, but thanks to your support we were able to create this organization that will not only honor our son, but is dedicated to changing lives, the same way that you changed ours when we needed you most.
